Early Christmas present!

I woke up thinking of my parcel from ASOS this afternoon! I was sooo excited.. Because Ruth and Norman got me an early Christmas present after knowing that I do not have enough warm clothes and also after knowing that NONE of my family members have been contacting me for the past nearly 2 months.. Sigh.. Don’t want to even get there, that hurt I have inside is starting to turn into frustration and anger..

Back to Ruthies Christmas pressiee!! I was ecstatic to know that I am entitled for the Next Day Delivery!! And ASOS is VERY efficient, I strongly recommend! =D So I woke up and got online and check where on sweet earth is my parcel, and I received an email saying that ‘Darling’ has signed for my parcel… I don’t know whether the Management of my student hall is trying to be cute in front of the delivery man, or is that really her name.. wtf.. But push silly things aside, back to my parcel!! I practically walked back to my flat with this huge grin on my face all the way.. hahahaa..

Time of the year

I know that the season is not far from now.. And I will be spending it here in the UK! =D I don’t know whether to be happy or what, but I’m definitely thankful to be able to be here. And I’m ecstatic that my childhood friend is coming ALL THE WAY to spend it with me!! I loveyou, Na.. Thanks for loving me no matter how bitchy I normally get, no matter how annoying I am when I start getting tipsy, no matter how stupid I get sometimes, and how ugly my hair is everyday.. There are times that you are the inspiration that has made me what I am today..

I’m starting to feel Christmas! And I have been playing Michael Buble’s Christmas album! My fave!! But everyone around me is numbed by the amount of assignments they have on their back, not that I am not, but I need tiny a break, that’s why I’m doing this. Hehe. Christmas will be very quiet. And I hope this Christmas will be a warm and happy one.. =D

One or two weeks ago, I had an impulse trip to Manchester.. =) Coming back was a dread but thankfully I had a great companion whom I always love having him around..

I have been in UK for nearly a week already, and I’m starting to feel that I’m getting too used to the weather, and it’s starting to feel warm.. =(

There is alot of pictures to put up, and one of the reason of posting huge load of pictures, is for my family to see! I miss them very much.. But I feel that it’s too soon to miss home, since I haven’t even started class.. Today was my first day of class, and I was super duper brushed up and loaded with energy to start my first assignment! =) Lectures and briefs here are totally different from my previous college.. Here, lecturers are inspiring and encouraging.. During my last 3 years doing Diploma, lectures are silly, and most of the time, it was boring.. Lecturers would tell you to go get your own information and facts.. While here, they just have that way to get you all VROOMMED up and enlightened? I love how they do lectures here.. =)

I have to talk about this bottle of water.. I was at Dubai Airport, and I wanted to get a bottle of water.. I was so thirsty and I have money hidden in a few pockets, when I was about to pay for my drink, I was digging into my bag / pouch, and before I know it, there’s this Malaysian guy / possibly Singaporean also, around 30-ish, actually paid for me.. He said something like: I will pay for this lady.. I was soooo greatful… I really want to thank him nicely by talking to him or something, but I’m shy and scared.. LOL WTH

I woke up like any morning.. I always wake up at around 930am and its like what? Pass midnight at Manchester? So me and Kahsoon, who’s in Man Chest er, started chatting about Mooncakes.. He wants me to bring back some mooncake for him..

After the mooncake topic, he asked me who would be coming over to Birmingham and I told him Jane, Me, Yvonne, Lianhwa, Sam, Weng, Wei, and Jimmy will be at Birmingham.. Hahaha..

Since it is confirmed that I will be going off to Birmingham to study.. I decided to give my granny a visit before i fly off.. I will miss her very much.. Every time when I am in Ipoh, with nothing to do, or when I’m doing my work in front of her *worship table?* (LOL I don’t know what you call the place where she burns joss stick and incense?? With a few of her God statues), my grandma will be sitting next to me, either talking to me, or falling asleep, or meditating.. =D

So this time, before I fly off to UK, I want to come back and see her and tell her personally that she won’t see seeing my sweet face for a year and I also won’t be seeing her this coming Chinese New Year.. I know she’ll miss me and worry about me..

Anyways, mom came along with me and on our way to Ipoh, we drove to Cameron.. Took the old route.. =( I took 2 dimenhydrinate.. And I felt like Jell-O.. And slept for don’t know how many hours.. We left my place at around 12pm and arrived Ipoh at 9pm..

At the highway, I think this Malay guy fell asleep and drove into the drain.. Hahaa.. Poor family..

I think my mom got tired of driving the winding road, and I was sleeping like a dead cow next to her (all because of the winding road and that 2 dimenhydrinate).. No one to accompany her talk.. So she stopped by the road side to buy Durian… In the end we end up eating there.. Because I was hungry too.. =D

The durian was NAAIIISSSSS, OKEEHHHH~

The durian fella asked us to try this kampung durian. When my teeth sank into the durian meat, I felt like a was in heaven.. Sighhhh~ So creamy.. So…… naiisss…. And.. this kampung durian taste different than the normal durian.. Hard to describe.. Hmmm… The fruit was very small.. But the seed is damn tiny too.. Meaning…… quite alot of meat too even though the ‘biji’ is small.. The durian in the picture above is just a wee bit bigger than your thumb only…

We accidentally arrived this tea garden.. Was super hungry.. But all they serve is lemon cake.. fml..

For all the above pictures, I didn’t use the click shutter.. I basically used my touch screen to touch where ever I want to focus.. GAAWWWDDD…. and I’m getting effin use to thissss!!! I can take pretty pictures in lightning speed~! =D Super fast….!! I did not have to wait a single second! It did not need time to focus and all that shiet!! Super chio, can?! I went all like: Focus this *press flower on screen* Focus that *press water droplets on screen* Focus this *press daisies on screen*

My baby pen took everything INSTANTLY!! I did not have to wait.. I did not have to worry whether it won’t turn out nice.. I didn’t check my pictures before i left.. I just touched screen non stop, and hop into the car.. When i *flipped through* (like an iphone) my pictures, they turned out soooo prettyyyyy!!! *heart melts* I am so happpieee!!

When we arrived Ipoh, I couldn’t resist to stop by at the hawker stalls near Sam Tet Primary School.. =] We ordered Ho Hee (Some funny name they came up with for Meatball and Fishball Hor Fun Soup) and the Famous Chicken Mushroom Gravy Chee Cheong Fun (which i personally think it was so-so only.. It was not salty enough..)

The special thing about this uncles Chee Cheong Fun is that he modified the sauce and added Gei Zi (the red red thing on the right, which claims to be good for the eyes and etc).

This is the Ho Hee i was talking about.. =] Cannot get else where.. My favourite.. hehee…

Sorry, but I have to just say this again… I love that touch-screen-focus-object-and-capture feature.. lololol.. Getting very very used to it… Teehheee~~ =D

MI f A cum KK Mountain Trip

Can’t deny the fact that i have been MIA-ing.. Lol.. Frankly, i have totally lost my mojo in blogging.. =( Partly because i just do not know what to blog these days.. I wake up everyday, either sewing or cooking? omg.. I have to do something..

I woke up today, and chatted with lianhwa who’s already in Birmingham.. Asking her to find me a place to rent near campus or at least near a public transport.. Renting a room elsewhere is much cheaper.. Cheaper by HALF to be exact.. Sometimes even more than half.. At least my weekly pay (have to work part-time) could cover the rent and i have extra to spend on food and savings.. And then i can go travel UK and Europe! I’m really thankful for Lianhwa.. Hopefully i do not need to stay at the hostel.. I’ve even calculated that by renting a place, i would even save cost on my laundry! Because most of the places up for rent has a washing machine, if lucky, a dryer too.. =]

I really don’t know what to expect in Birmingham.. Different environment and all..I can’t wait to go to my first lecture! Speaking of lecture, i have to start brushing up my autocad…! =( I have a freelance project, i want to try to get it done before i fly off to Birm…

Ohh!! and i did not tell you guys that i went to KK last July for a getaway!! Not a getaway with my boyfie, though.. *sad face* i went with Jane, Lianhwa and annoying sam!!! *shit, he’s going to slaughter me* It was the bestttt!! Well, come to think of it, it was sort of our first time, ‘Travelling’ together! heheee! And, the amazing thing about the trip is that i went with an empty wallet.. Dad didn’t know, even if he knows, 1. he won’t let me go, 2. no extra allowance.. And mom also refuse to give me money… lol.. Til today, i still wonder how did i managed that 5 days in KK.. Wait.. the boyfie paid for my whole trip!! *touched* Even though he didn’t get to go..

Oh! And another funny and happiest thing about this trip was: Jane did not expect me to go to KK with them.. And i secretly plan this whole trip without her knowing!! I went up the plane after most of the passengers were seated, I was so lucky that Jane didn’t see me come up the plane.. Basically, i nearly missed my plane…LOL and when she arrived, i wanted to wait at the baggage belt, but i just couldn’t wait to see that expression on Janes face! hahahaa.. Sam and Lianhwa was so cooperative, we planned the whole thing together.. Even Sam was so worried i couldn’t make it up the plane.. He thought i missed the flight! hahaa.. As i said, i was so lucky, and i was rushing like mad that morning! Sorry Jane! But i did all this to make you happy.. =]

Most of our journey in KK, we travelled in Lianhwa’s Maroon baby. Quite comfortable, i have to say!

After spending a night at Pines Resort, on the way down hill, we stopped by 3 places.. The Sucker River (I call it Sucker River for some reason you’ll know later), The War Memorial, and Desa Cow Farm.. Overall, It was a happy afternoon…

Okay.. This is where the name SuckerRiver came from.. Look at the amount of sucker fishes in the river! mother of gawd! i was moaning like some………… okay i don’t wanna go there… But hell! I was moaning like mad it was so ticklish i wanna die!!! *secretly enjoys being tickled*

I tell you, THEY ARE HUGE AND NO I’M NOT JOKING.. One of the biggest could even suck up my whole thumb toe ( what do you call it? lol)

Just Stop and Think

I’m in this really emotional phase of the month right now, and yes, it’s due to PMS.. =( I ALWAYS GET THIS AND I’M GETTING TIRED OF EVERYTHING.. It’s like a cycle (OF COURSE, IT’S A CYCLE, KIM.. IT’S YOUR PERIOD… aka Some-cycle-that-has-to-do-with-production-of-eggs.. ) i get all edgy and sensitive and i give bitchy faces to everyone that comes in my way..

The beginning of the day, i was actually very excited because the boyfriends family has planned a day-trip to the Borneo Rainforest for a, they call it, Day-Trippers Package.. Somewhat like a short tour around the huge *playground*.. And then there’s kayak-ing and river cruise and etc.. I was so excited, because it sounded like a huge pile of fun in the jungle..

So i went home and started to check the battery of my dslr, and wiped the lens and all.. Turned it on, and found out that it didn’t work.. =( S P O I L T .. The lens wouldn’t auto-focus, and no, i do not want to MANUAL FOCUS ANYTHING… ergh.. Instantly, my high and my excitement went down the drain and i felt like shit.. =( I still feel like shit… I WAS DYING TO TAKE PICTURES, AND IT FAILED ME… stoopidfcamera…

I just feel like crying and going to bed and just wake up and just get over that jungle-trekking or whatever day-tripper shit.. Furthermore, my bf doesn’t wanna go kayak-ing with me.. EVEN BETTER… sigh

Then i browse the web and came across a video.. Which is very inspiring.. but it’s still not working on me.. Hope it works for everyone else..

Besides from it not working on my emotions, it actually gave me a clearer view of Christianity for me.. Going through what i have gone through in some Baptist church in Miri, them leaving terrible memories for me.. I have been brought up thinking that Christians should be perfect and everything, and i got stuck somewhere thinking why are THOSE christians i came across full of lies and fake smiles..Why would they verbally attack me for no reason and Why are they such hypocrites and etc.. I was quite disappointed and i gave God up.. I gave him up because i am seeing false hope, i fear meeting uncles and aunties from that baptist church and i face fake people every Sunday.. I keep thinking why are they no like how the Bible portray Gods disciples..

But then, after watching this, i realise that whatever thoughts i have about Christianity is just an excuse.. Excuse not to be closer to God.. They give you fake smiles and they act as a church filled with hypocrites, they are sinning, and one day, they will come before God and they will realise what they are doing is wrong, and they will seek forgiveness, and change for the better..

every Christian sin and they sin a lot.. They say things they don’t mean and they say things that hurt me.. But they are human too.. After realising everything, i felt better.. felt better about what have been bothering me the past many years.. I used to think that God would judge us one day, but i was wrong.. God would never judge.. He forgives and forgives and forgives and will never stop forgiving.. And even if that uncle or that aunty is more wicked or being a hypocrite, God will treat us all equally.. because he love us all.. There’s nothing to feel disappointed about.. there’s nothing to feel hurt about… I now understand..

After watching this short film, different people will come across different self-realisation and also a different view of Christianity.. Do enlighten yourself.. You’re worth it.. =]

This film did not make my night better, but it made me realise how much God has done for me, and i should appreaciate whatever i have, even the tiniest things.. And i should enjoy the jungle tomorrow.. =(

If I were to look for him for my wedding in the future, he must be really expensive.. =( cuz the venues of the photoshoots are places like Rome, Italy, and many more, I forgotten..

I feel super happy because the boss is not here today, tomorrow, the day after.. until tuesday! =] I get to faster do my work and settle my stuffs.. And I haven’t even taken day-off since the beginning of this month.. Even after falling sick, I still come to work.. =( I feel so adult-like.. I want to be young again.. I want to be 15.. I want to be back to those times where I would just come back from school and do whatever I want.. Take a nap or make mashed potatoes..

Sigh.. I always open my blogger and write emo stuffs.. =( Is my life that sad?? if dad see’s this, he’ll gimme that stop-complaining-about-your-life-and-just-workhard lecture..

Besides having invisible stress from work, I feel like I’m emotionally drained and de-motivated.. Every single day at the office, I’m being called dumb and slow.. I don’t have the brains to be a designer, I’m too stupid.. I’m not good enough to be a designer and all.. And he threw me to sales department.. I knew it.. I can’t design at all.. I do not have design sense.. and I am really bad… =( I admitted long time ago.. but people around me keep giving me support and false hope (dunno false or not la, but time is showing me a clearer picture), telling me that I’m good and I can do it.. the fact is, I CAN’T.. and I do not know what can I do.. I just want to stay home and sew cute purses and make jewelry.. I don’t like to sit in the office, I don’t like to work for anyone.. I don’t like to wake up early, neither do I like to sleep early.. =( I wish someone could guide me and tell me what I should do..

Well, hello to my first job, and the first step of being an adult.. If I could choose, I want to retire now.. I have heard a lot of people going through difficult times during their first job, but I really envy those who enjoys their job very much.. I am still looking for that job I would be happy working at everyday.. I wanna be home-based…………………………….. =(

This is one of the very few Mothers’ Day I’m spending away from my mom.. I’m having my PMS now, making me more emotional and missing home more.. I’m far from my family, meaning I couldn’t spend time with them and go dinner with them.. =( I miss going to those expensive places with them.. Japanese or Korean or anything.. I’m actually taking a tiny break now.. I am sooo tired.. =( So stressed out.. and soo many things to get done.. My head is aching like mad..

LOL… And to entertain your eyes and tickle your curiousity.. =] I found this at jane’s blog, which she found somewhere else.. I find it very true.. yet hilarious.. I work and blend into being a designer, without knowing how annoying i actually am..

(in bold represents what i seriously agreed. lol)

1. They are very weird people.
2. There are billions of them in the world, like colors on the screen of your computer.
3. They will analyse conversations in layers.
4. You will spend the day assembling furniture from IKEA.
5. They drink and eat all kinds of weird shit just because they like the packaging.
6. They hate each other.
7. You’ll come out the last out of the movies because you have to see the full list of credits.
8. They cant change a light bulb or without making a sketch.
9. They fuck up all the tables with their cutters.
10. They rather study the paisley pattern on your outfit than listen to what you have to say.

Must be wondering what is so unbelievable, ay? I have been thinking about it so much recently, i’m starting to worry myself.. I CAN’T BELIEVE I’M WORKING HERE IN MIRI… =(

Part of me feel relief that i have finally found a job i enjoy doing.. Yet part of me feel so unfamiliar working here in miri.. the way they work is very different and the way they think is nothing i have expected to face after graduation..

I miss Designstream, but Ds is toooooo serious and their projects are very huge.. =( I want to be part of them, but i’m just not at that level.. SO SAD..

The good thing working at this Home Designer (wierd name for a co.) place, is that it’s within my level of knowledge.. Lol.. they mostly take in small projects and mostly residentials.. And cabinets.. and toilets.. and wardrobes… I have a huge feeling i will be working here for a long time.. bad thing, no??

I have so much to rant about!!!! A lot of wierd stuffs happen here.. I find it soooooo troublesome, to an extent i can’t work comfortably.. Everyday, i would sing and do my drawings just to make myself feel a bit more better.. LOL..

Interesting stuffs that i am not used to here in my new workplace:

1. Their hot water dispenser is like 200m away from my office table DOWNSTAIRS… ERGH.. thats not all.. I have to go through people i don’t like seeing.. imagine me holding my mushroom flavour instant porridge, walking passs few hundred panels of curtains.. by the time i reach my table, my porridge no more mushroom smell dy! so sad, can?!!? =(

2. i’ve learnt alot of new terms they make sure i use when talking to client or typing out a quotation:

door panel – door paMel (as in CAMEL)
door panel – door PELMET (as in HELMET)
BEAM – VU-ING (as in Wing, but with the V)
kitchen island – kitchen Ireland (wtf)
Refridgerator / Fridge – Fradger
Demolish – Demolist
Cement – Semen

3. I fell right outside of the office few days ago, bruising the back part of my waist. f*.. 1st of all, they use smooth tiles for the walkway, and it rained that day. 2nd, i was not the only one okay!! even customers have fell before.. WHAT IF I’M EFFIN PREGNANT AND CARRYING A 6MTH OLD ALIEN IN MY ABDOMEN?!?!? sigh. i don’t understand.

4. The accountants and curtain people (below my showroom and workplace is the curtain department) downstairs are all so unfriendly and wierd.. I like my 1st floor.. I like all the people working here at the showroom.. hmph..

Me and my bf seldom quarrel.. maybe less than 5 times a year.. even if we do, we snap at each other once or twice, then i end up crying, then we talk things out and everything will be fine.. LoL.. if not, then i will hold back all my grudges until i can’t hold anymore, then i end up crying, then he will comfort me and ask me what is wrong, then we talk things out… Whatever it is, I ALWAYS CRY. fml.. I’m too happy, i cry.. When i’m touched, i cry.. When he accuse me, i cry.. When i’m tired, i cry.. WHen i’m sad, i cry.. When i’m having PMS, i cry.. When i am ill, i cry… When i’m angry, i cry.. FML.. okay.. enough of my crying shit..

The one reason why we seldom quarrel, is because he understands me very well and i love him very much.. He knows what i like, what i don’t and he understands that i have stupid frequent headaches.. He lets me throw tantrums when i have headache =].. He’d still care and love me even if i throw a really big fuss.. His tolerance level seemed quite high… thats why i love him so much..

At many times, i wonder.. Will he tolerate me til i am 80 years old…? will he tolerate me til god-knows-when?

One thing about me.. I never believed in FOREVER..

Jewelry Making Class!

My first lesson, would be super super super super easy.. I call it the Extreme Beginner Level.. I will teach 2 bracelet and an earring.. The class duration would be around 2 hours.. If my students are fast, i might teach them an extra earring!

First Bracelet would be this Daisy Bracelet [ABOVE]. It’s the easiest among the easiest of all wired jewelry. I will teach you how to make those daisies as spacers for your bracelet or even necklace. =]

*the daisies i mentioned could be seen clearly as i have placed a vivid red daisy there as a reference.

Then the second project you will learn would be a set of Moonlight Shimmer bracelet and earring [ABOVE].. As you can see, I have used the Daisy technique for my Moonlight Shimmer earring.. Making it look elegant and nice..

This project, you also be taught the basic techniques like making a simple Loop, and using bead caps, and etc. If there are any extra techniques you want to learn, you can ask me during the class.

When you have decided to join my class, i suggest that you could go to any hardware store to get 4 simple tools as shown below. =] If you couldn’t get it, or do not have the time, please let me know in advance, I can buy them for you for a price of RM28.

Beautiful Thursday

So the brother and the mother went off to Ipoh to spend the 7th and 8th day of Chinese New Year with the grandma.. Leaving me at home with nothing to do.. =]

It felt like the best day of my life.. Well, not the BEST.. but i have been craving and dying to have days like today since i started college.. * sigh in relief *

With nothing important to do besides posting out my stationeries to my customers, i came back contemplating on making beef lasagna or sausage pastries.. Then i found my Mozzarella cheese in my fridge missing.. *grunts* must be jon.. So, with not much choice left, i stared at the ayamas sausage in my freezer, thinking of what shape should i fold my pastry.. LOL..

This one i used too much of the pastry dough.. =( turned out to be quite filling.. I had one, and felt damn full right after..

So i used lesser dough.. So much better!! tiny pastries!

Actually, the real tiny sausage pastry is not that tiny.. Quite huge.. but proportion of the dough and sausage is perfect~

I was soooo busy this month, i hardly take any pictures.. Super sad.. =(

These are a few i documented.. LoL.. my Chapati adventure.. hahahaaha.. I can’t believe i made indian food.. It was delicious!!! =] Well, i enjoyed it myself.. Don’t know about jon.. I made mushroom omelette and vegetarian mutton curry to go along with it… *drools*

Knead the dough and left it aside for 30 mins

Roll them out into balls, a little bigger than Ping Pongs..

Toss it into a non-stick pan. Not a single drop of oil required.

My ah beng went out to his garage to fix his *cough* sport car.. Despite his silly expressions, i find my ahbeng very manly.. *giggles* I never tell him so, because he will be amazingly proud and would boast around.. and it would last for a few weeks.. Damn annoying.. =]

When i was very busy playing with my dslr, thinking of what to snap, he called out to me saying: “ Eh, ah moi.. Come help me press on the brake and shift to Drive.”

So, while i was about to post pictures of the muffins i made this morning, sam wong called.. saying that i passed all my modules, and i am going to graduate on the 18th!! all thanks to him! he helped me so mucH!

Okay.. this post is not about sam or the fact that i’m graduating.. teehee.. it would be pictures on my first attempt in making muffies.. carrot somemore..

I hate cinnamon.. but.. apparently, most of the muffin recipes has cinnamon in it.. ergh.. not nice.. I should have just skipped the cinnamon and add more vanillaa.. =] sure nice..!

I wanted to make muffins for breakfast but baby boy woke up earlier than i expected.. so, suprise failed.. but.. as always, his younger sister helped me out with the muffins.. She’s just as domestic as i am.. loL.. i am not alone..

I was so happy when i reactivated my facebook account and saw a pre-wedding photoshoot of this 2 high school friends of mine. =] I was feeling beyond words!

If i’m not mistaken, Bik Sieu courted Theresa when she was in Form 1 or Form 2.. then they were together ever since.. I am very sure that the relationship was one helluva bumpy one.. and i’ve also heard a lot of rumors back then.. *rolls eye* =] But, heck! Theresa and Bik Sieu put in a lot of effort into making everything work out.. When i was younger, my dad has always been telling me that i should study hard and do what i should do. I rebelled. Just like any other teenager. I continue saying hurtful things to my parents, to people around me. I go on being all bitchy to every single soul i see. I continue lazing around, doing only things i want to do. Dreaming when would that day come when i could do things i like for the rest of my life without even working hard.

I couldn’t imagine how immature I was. I feel stupid. Now I understand that *scoff* i heard from my dad when i told him my dreams. I finally understand why he actually did that. but… i sense that my maturity kicked in too late.. I can’t turn back.. There’s nothing i could do now.. There’s nothing i want to do anymore to turn back..

I never thought that this very day would come. The day where i would actually kneel down on my knees crying my lungs out, hoping i could start all over. The day when i finally came to know that my dreams are shattered and i deserve it..

I never thought i would cry so hard til i couldn’t breathe. Til i really wanted to die. Til i wish my birth mother would just abort me that time she found out she had me. I broke down to that extend i wish i didn’t even exist.

When i knew the truth, i thought that it’s no big deal. Those movies were just exaggerating on how a girl would feel when she knew she was adopted.. All her screaming and crying and questions in her head.. is stupid.. ‘Why did my mom give me away..’ ‘Who is my father?’ ‘Where is she now?’ and et cetera. Because i did not feel any of that. And all i felt was that my parents were nice people and gave me an opportunity to live.. my gratitude to them, is endless.

But then, Now i feel it. I start to hate HER for even making love without using protection. and giving me away (which i know, is for the better) I wanna see her one day and make sure she is somewhere washing dishes, i won’t even TALK to her. I just hate her.

I have to get over that issue. but i don’t know why does it make me feel like just dying.

Anyway, i finally felt that my dreams will never come through. I never regretted bringing myself to London this year. Despite having a great time, that is my only chance to get to go and study. Regardless how long the trip is. Now i know why did i have that weird feeling when i was on my plane back to Malaysia. It was because it was my only chance to get there.

i can only blame myself. my course mates get to go next year. they deserve it. they are academically so much better than me. and they are not even proud at all. i hate myself for all the proud-ness in me. I always thought that my English is good (at least better than them), and nothing else matter. and also adding in that i-dont-care attitude.. now i feel so stupid.. i feel awfully ashamed of myself, and after recieving that incredible kick in my teeth, i felt that the kick was too strong.. i somehow couldn’t pull myself together.. I was never told.. i was always pampered and protected… by mom.. by dad.. everyone around me..

I needed someone to wake me, though. Thanks to her. Hey, ML.. I know you came at the wrong time, but whatever You did, really affected me this time.. Thanks for correcting me.. making me wake up.. and telling me that i’m not that good afterall and making me think twice about wasting my parents money going all the way to UK.. if it wasn’t for you, i would continued with my messed up attitude, and i would never come to know of the H U M I L I T Y word..

What dad said was right. ‘if you study hard, no matter what and how, you will get to where you want.’ for me, the ‘where you want’ is studying in UK.. and as a matter of fact, i have to face it that i am not going anymore, and i deserve whatever situation i am in now.

If it wasn’t for Mom and Dad, my life could have been worst.

Before i know it, i would be having my semester break already. Wait a minute. No more semester breaks. I finish my college.

Sigh. I want this semester to end. But yet, i want it to go on like this forever. =(

What should i do?

These few weeks, i have been super duper busy with my Pet Hotel. Childish as it may sound, For a final year project, and of all things i could choose from, i chose to design a PET HOTEL. Sometimes i hate myself for being so blonde.

It’s okay with the Pet hotel idea, but when it comes to research, when i want to search for books to do research on, i end up with nothing. Means i have to think of every detail myself.

Fine with the think-of-every-detail myself. So i thought, when i want to do 3d, i could just download a ready-made dog grooming table. WHO WOULD HAVE DONE A DOG GROOMING TABLE?! I couldn’t find no ready-make grooming table.

This is when i feel helpless.

Blonde enough to come up with a Pet Hotel.

My assignments have numb-ed my excitement towards this years Halloween. =(

Actually, i was quite looking forward to this years Halloween as it is my last year in college. And i’m not putting any hope that i will get to do University. Sigh.

I should stop procrastinating. I have alot of CAD drawings to wrap up!! =( and i have to start working on my Furniture for Furniture Design.. Not to forget, i have to complete another hard bound report for my Professional Practice module.. ANOTHER HARD BOUND..!! fml..

List of Assignments to complete in less than a month. Wait, 2 effin weeks! :

1. Furniture Design: Presentation Board, a Sustainable Furniture (1:1 Scale fml)

2. Technical Studies 2: around 30 nos. of AutoCAD drawings. (Due: This Friday)

No matter how angry i get at her sometimes, good or bad, she always makes me smile. When i have weird cravings at odd hours, she is the one who will say she has the same weird craving and will accompany me to go get that dessert we were dying to eat.

Among so many people in class, she is the only one i could get along with so well. She is the one who could make me sane when I'm very stressed. She is the one i would rather sleep with when we have study trips or even when i stay over at the hostel.

I never thought i could find someone like her in limkokwing who would accept my flaws and love me as a good friend.. most importantly, putting in that effort and love to understand me.. =]

my bed sheet

I’m suspecting that my bed sheet is the cause of making me head to my bed every single time i try to do my work. My bed sheet is maroon-ish red. So dramatic, i just feel like lying on it and relax. The next thing i know, i always end up WAKING UP on it. =( ergh..

And then when i change the sheet to turquoise, i will be overjoyed, because turquoise makes me happy. Lol. The result of being happy with my sheets, normally ends up with ME on the BED.. then.. you should know what happens next.. I end up lying on my bed and relax.. The next thing i know, i end up WAKING UP on it again..

During those numerous hours of sleep, i could’ve finished my not-so-long-just-2000-words essay..

But i want to sleep. EVEN now. I am so sleepy. I keep doing chores to make myself not so sleepy. But it just doesn’t work.

Maybe i should nap for an hour or two. Then wake up and continue contemplating on how to complete that not-so-long-just-2000-words essay. *grunts*

My saturday was a very unproductive one. The night before i went to meet nana and had a loooooong chat with her til 5am. =] Was a great chat, though.

And because of sleeping at 5 in the morning, i slept practically the whole day. =(

So not good. No progress on my work at all. I wanna do something. but i am sooo lazy now i keep procrastinating. this is so bad. i have to buckle-up and do something.

And i was thinking, since my saturday was THAT unproductive, and i couldn’t get any work done, I thought that i should just take pictures. Was planning to go take pictures with nanagirl today or tomorrow. But i had to be a babysitter for the day. I’m even contemplating on going to the movies with the brothers later. *grins*

So after contemplating on what to do the whole day, i decided to play around with my stickys! =)

I bought 3 flavours and 1 more, i exchanged with jane. *giggles* This stuff is so addictive. But too much of a good thing can make you sick.

My favorite one is obviously the transparent one with a pink heart center. *heart* That one’s apple flavor.

It has been a very busy week!! =( Submissions seem to be never-ending.. And the worst thing is, i have a lot to catch up, i don’t even have the time to breathe, WHAT MORE CATCHING UP.

This unusual lifestyle has deaden my regular movie sessions. I feel so lifeless, but at the same time, i wanna complete what i have to do. I wanna watch Grown Up, Devil, and that owl movie, and that Zac Efron movie, and that funny Malaysian movie, and mannyyy more. =( This is so sad..

but but but! I have to say, life is meaningless without beautiful pictures. I may be just an amateur.. And i don’t know ANYTHING about taking pictures (i admit, because i really don’t), but i love pretty pictures! Beautiful pictures are like candies to my heart, sunshine to my soul, and the inspiration to my mind.

I wanna learn how to take nice and good quality pictures! I wanna buy that macro lens franny has just told me! I wanna go into the wild and snap! I wanna go to that abandoned house and do a photo-shoot!

But i can only do all that after i get myself a new DSLR. I need a new one. =) Too soon for a new cammie?

I think so too. Wait til i start earning my own money and have my own family. I wanna take heart-melting pictures of my children. =)

Finallyyy!! Our TomDixon Conceptual beach chair’s done.. =]

Inspired by Tom Dixon’s very own Etch Lamp.. We came out with a flat beach chair.. (Everytime i sit on it, i feel like sunbathing.. leSigh…) And because it’s very flat, made out of 2 piece of wood, we named it FLetch… Flat Etch..

The making process of this chair with Jane and Justin was very fun and a memorable one.. Well, memorable to ME.. The more assignment i complete and submit, the more emotional i get… I can’t accept the fact that everything is ending sooo soon… I can’t believe i’m finishing already… I will miss Jane-y VERY MUCH… =(

Uncle Wong

Uncle Wong died in a car accident on Monday at 2am. It all happened at the Pujut 7 roundabout in Miri.

This handsome and bubbly 51 year old Uncle Wong is a family friend of ours, and the owner of the very famous Lutong cafe near the Shell office in Lutong.

I was so shock to hear that Uncle Wong passed away.. I held back my tears.. Automatically, tiny tiny memories of him starts to appear in my mind.. =( He was such a nice guy..

Even though i don’t spend a lot of time with him when he was around, whenever i see him, he will give me a huge smile and find time to talk to me. Even in Leo activities.. He would call me over and introduce me to his Lion friends as his god-daughter and he would start telling them how big i have grown, and he has seen me since i was a toddler..

I remember that Uncle Wong has also offered me a ride home once, and i remember clearly that “lecture” he gave me that night. He was telling me how i should love my parents and do well in my studies and make them proud.. And he was also teaching me how to look for a good boyfriend.. He told me how guys would cheat girls and so on. He said that boyfriends are not important and i would find the right one one day.. That time, i thought i knew everything. I just nod my head and smile. Even if i went over to his cafe in the afternoon, and he so happen to be there, he would also sit down and give me little lectures on how to treat people nicely.. There was once, he even told me how he met and courted Aunty Wong last time when they were young and i can tell that he loved Aunty Wong alot..

The thoughts of those vivid memories are just so painful and sad when i come to my senses and remind myself that he is not there at the cafe anymore.

I would really like to pay Aunty Wong a visit.. But even if i’m there, i’m not good at this kind of situation.. =( I really hope Aunty Wong and her children will feel better soon and let time heal all the pain and sorrow she’s going through now…

I am supposed to be doing my Communication Principle 111 Research Report.. BUT…. I spent my whole day doing research for my Furniture Design assignment.. =(

Each group have to come up with a full scale furniture made out of corrugated board and any other material chosen to suit your design.. Our group has yet decided on how our CHAIR would look like…

So instead of doing it in a group, i decided to start figuring out how are we going to assemble a sustainable and most of all function able chair.. LoL.. What if Max (Lecturer) were to sit on it and fall…

After i've completed my internship, I decided to take a break and head off to where i grew up - Miri.. (the reason of me being MIA) =] I haven't been back since January.. and i think KL seems to be over-working my weak body, and i need to recuperate before i get more and more depressed..

I went back, and had the best lamb chop, the best walk at the beach, the best Sarawak Laksa, the most delicious handmade noodles, and so many moooore... I GAINED WEIGHT.. this is so bad.. but how could i resist such delicious food.. sigh.. Suddenly, i have no interest in West Malaysian food no more.. =( I SO wanna go back..

Class has started. and i dread to go to class everyday.. because the more i go to class, the more disappointed and sad i feel for myself.. I DON'T KNOW WHY.. maybe it's because everyone's moving forward, and i feel stuck-ed right here and i'm scared... Everybody's improving, and i just wanna stay right where am i... I suspect it's gotta do with my Attitude Problem. *Ergh* So emo i just wanna lie in bed and do nothing til i'm 84 years old... *sigh*

Life's full of crossroads and dilemmassss.... =( sometimes, when i'm very very emotional, tiny little thoughts will bring strolls of tears down my face.. and things will get worst if somehow, by chance, a song that relates to me and my feelings starts to play in the background, then my mind will start working on its own.. thoughts will start coming in, memories would be like flashbacks.. sometimes it sucks... because when all these happens, it continues beyond my control.. i hate the fact that i can't control my tears.. if only i could find a remote for my emotions.. but i keep telling myself that humans have emotions, and its natural.. tears are good for the eyes too. wtf.. and automatically, those tears just won't stop flowing... for like another hour or two.. great.

I haven't been updating this place for like... a week? i somehow lost the mojo to take pictures and the huge mojo to blog.. maybe i've grown up? maybe i'm really stepping into adulthood... unwillingly...

I can't wait for classes to start.... I fear of the thought 'Responsibility' and 'Tolerance'... I just wanna be carefree and childish, like i have always been.... I feel like the inner happy-go-lucky me is slowly dying off.. and i'm starting to feel afraid...

push those adult-stuffs aside, i found this really meaningful description of Love by accident just now:

I know that it has been ages since i've blogged. and i've been very very very very busy. Busy with life. Work has been quite wierd.. long story.. been facing colleagues that try to chase me out of the company. Even though his and her actions are very obvious, but i felt it, okay. i'm not 13 years old.. Because of that.. i've been trying very hard to please everyone.. Is this how reality is?????!?!?!?! =( i'm scared... I'm afraid of growing up.. Facing people those kind of people.. Ì don't want to grow up......

And i'm suppose to hand up my history finals tmr.. I'm listening to christina's album, HOPING THAT IT KEEPS ME AWAKE... sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

oh! today, i went over to nana's place.. went over to see her family.. say hi to mr and mrs rosli.. =] Saw their baby kahl!! damn adorable! will post pictures up soooon! as soon as i find time larh. ergh..

Tmr's schedule:

1. head over to uni

3. rush back to office

4. Load papers for office printer, fax, photocopier, etc.

5. Check fax

6. Check mail

7. Help out with dress up for Marc Penthouse somewhere near KLCC

8. back to office

9. cater to colleagues.

10. Go home

I miss my chuongie darling. I need someone to cater to me!!! I've been missing meals and eating lesser.. And i have no one to talk to.. The only time would be when darling chuongie calls me.. which is not often, because i'm always either busy or tired..

I was so so so so so busy the whole week... Took sick leave on monday.. Had this huge enormous terrible migraine since sunday... and furthermore, Ginny accidentally took my house keys and i couldn't get out of my apartment.. Anddd!! Friday's a public holiday... *grins* This week was a great and busy week... NEXT WEEK WOULD BE AN EVEN BETTER WEEEEEKKKKK!!!!! mwahahaa.... =]

Last week, I was asked to get samples for a project.. so, it means that last week, i have to deal with calling suppliers and stuff.. besides asking for samples, i also had to do a little bit of drawing.. very time consuming.. but i enjoyed it to the maxxxx!! =] I'm settling in well... and i'm loving my job.. i really don't know how long would this last.. I always get bored of things very fast... sigh

When samples are here, i have to check whether the sizes are correct
because i've worked out the sizes to fit onto A1 boards

See what i mean?? because, even though i've worked here for a month plus already, i never felt like i was one of them.. they are all very capable and fast-moving (lol, i'm very lay-back, I KNOW) where as, i'm there just helping them photocopy or binding they're tender drawings.. or either going down to collect fax or fax something, and to go collect mails from our mail box... I've never felt like i was working under Designstream.. it just felt like i was doing an 80days-community-service or something... Maybe i've done something really bad or something illegal, and the court sentence me an 80days-community-service... wtf.. lol... thats why i'm in Designstream...

I really love working there.. even though to some extent i couldn't stand her shouting.. and even though sometimes, i have to be the one to get scolded, even though its not my fault... even though i have to help them bind stuffs and carry stuffs up and down... but i still love working there.. my senior is a very nice lady... even though she scolds me sometime, but i know she mean no harm... =] and 3 other colleagues of mine, always teaches me new stuffs, even though one of them has no patience, but she's a very straightforward person, and i like it like that.. and one guy, he is always there to teach me and help me, he always tries his best to lessen my burden.. and sometimes, when i get shouting or scolding and its not my fault, he will help me say something.. and the other one, always teach me new things and always assign me new things to do, to her it might be just a minor thing to do, but everytime after she assign me something to do, i always feel like i've learnt alot and i've moved a step forward...

WHERE AS FOR THE OTHER TWO, always ask me to do stupid stuffs like scanning and driving him here and there. frankly, i hate it. i learn nothing everytime they ask me to do stuffs. waste my time only.

We went for a very simple japanese dinner somewhere around Bandar Puteri Puchong. Yoichi, opened by a japanese couple.

And today, i finally got to touch-up my eyelashes. *relief* I have been tolerating *it* for a week already. =( this time, it felt more comfortable than the first time. at least it doesn't poke my eye lid no more. That place is really good. =] Anyone interested in eyelash extension can come ask me, i tell you where is it..

And yesterday, i bought this glasses from Midvalley. I could NEVER find the right glasses, because i have a humungous head. *rolls eye* and this one fits!! and its big! hahahaa... it looks so cute. hearts. =] so happy.

p/s: TMR IS A MONDAY. *sigh* monday blueeessss~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~despite monday blues, on a sunday night, i'm already piled up with work. =( i still have alot of work to do for Vinnee. She needs it tmr morning...

I have finally found a little bit of my precious time to do this. I have been so so so busy until my birthday cake is still in the fridge rotting.. I HAVEN'T FOUND TIME TO CUT MY BDAY CAKE.. should've done it last weekend.. that poor guy opens the fridge everyday and ask whether the cake could be eaten or not.. LOL

back to what i wanted to say.. So many stuffs happening recently.. Being ordered around non-stop.. and being exposed and taught on how to dress up show units.. SO much to learn..

The top of this page is Marc Residence's Modern Contemporary concept penthouse. *I FINALLY BROUGHT MY CAMERA* =) These penthouse are not considered fully dressed up.. They are left like this for future events.. Maybe the client might hold parties or dinners there.. dunno lar..

The one below is the Modern Classical concept penthouse. It's not fully dressed-up yet.. That day we went to dress up only 5 toilets because they are using the place for a private function for maybank. So... the toilet must be nice.. Got Acca Kappa handwash also, okay. I shopped for it one. *cough* That day, NO ONE BROUGHT THE CAMERA. sigh. it was a wednesday. sigh sigh sigh sigh The cons of having a big camera. Because we had to walk all the way to KLCC from Marc, so i thought i would be carrying alot of stuffs (which i did) and i don't wanna take care of the camera. =( *regrets*

And today, I'll be doing dressing up fo 6Ceylon's show unit.. but the contractors are not done with the construction yet, what more say defects. sigh. BUT the project manager wants everything done by today. CONTRACTORS DUE DATE IS TODAY, DESIGNERS DUE DATE ALSO TODAY. no brain one i tell you. Contractors work done already, no allowance for cleaning up period one ah? no allowance for defect one ah?? The sofa's coming in today, the show unit is full of dust. AND THEY STILL INSIST ON HANDING OVER TODAY.
